General Fan stays on.....

Hi, just wanting a little advice please. I have a Fiat Cinquecento, P registration, and when i have done even a moderate length journey, and have switched off the ignition, the fan continues to run, for maybe upto 5 mins afterwards. Is this normal, or has anyone else had this problem etc. Any help much appreciated and thankyou in advance!

1-2 minutes is what mine does on switch off, and not just at front door any time at traffic lighte or in traffic queue.

Yep normal.

Years ago I had a 1984 Audi Coupe (5-cyl 2.2) after turning off and locking etc that used to start the fan when you had walked about 10-feet away. Wondered what was going on the first time it happened!

But with the Cinq, if the fan is running when you turn the ign off, it will keep going for a while.
