hey just new on this forum having a problem :bang:with ducato 2.8 idtd camper.The problem is one fan is continously running even with ignition turned off:confused: when you turn ignition on temp gauge needle goes straight to red even do engine is cold.I checked fan relays:confused: my engine is not over heating and there is no coolant loss

Do you really come from a place called pighole? Anyway if you search here its been covered before and on the motorhome forums. Disconnect the temp guage at the cluster, reconnect problem solved or so people claim.
 
yes the pigs hole is for real.stick poulmucka in the sat nav and see for your self.tryed the cluster trick with no joy so starting to change the sensors one by one and will post how i get on.:)
 
got the temp gauge sorted with new sensor also done a test with a bulb + battery + pot of hot water on the fan sensor on the radiator and found one side of sensor staying on when cold . the other side went off as soon as it cooled so it looks like another new sensor and we should be sorted .:):):)
