We came 4m out our drive, the alarm came on, said" cool high temp" " turn engine off" so immediately checked water / leaks ,nothing. So we carried on checked again after 10 Kms, engine hardly warm.
We went everywhere no probs.
There is a red light and the guage is on max.
So please, where is the sensor and is it easy/ cheap to change?
Thanks.

And that's the ePER diagram with the part number 46753479:

There's another 115 HP diesel marked as 'Depot Belgium' with the engine coded as M87, but the temperature sensor is the same. As think the CF3 / CF4 correspond to the emissions EUR norm.

I was about to order a sensor switch but thought I would warm the engine by going out and then find the switch when it was warm.
The engine started and ran perfectly with no warnings or indication of hot engine or red light.
Have been out a few times since, still OK.
I think I will leave it until the weather is warmer, car is sat outside all its life.
Thank you for all your encouragement :)
