Technical Failed MOT.

Ok so i've failed my MOT on steering rack.

The guy recons on fiats the whole thing need replacing, he's not getting the business, i'm taking it to someone i've dealt with before, but does anyone know if this is a big job.

Cash wise how much am i looking to spend for a new one and to get it installed.

thanks for the offer, but i got it sorted this afternoon new steering rack £200 inc labor and some brake pads... didn't think that was bad at all

only thing i need to do is get the tracking done...

£200 for the steering rack
£115 for the tax
£45 for the mot... looks like i'm skint for this month...
