Depends on if it has a dual mass flywheel that needs replacing? At a guess £400-500 if not, nearer a £1000 if it has one

Fly wheel does need replacing. They're said the car will have to be worked on all day. £2399

Tell them to “do one” and go elsewhere. Is it a solid gold plate or something? That’s at a Fiat dealership I’m guessing?

Nope very much a garage next door to a farm. I've used them for a few years and always thought reasonable. Not this time! Thanks for confirming

Or more like they don't want the job? Definitely around the £1000 mark for replacment clutch and DMF.

Plenty of genuine Fiat ones available on eBay from Italy and Latvia for £250, with either free or 10 quid postage. Plus the import duty. Still keeps the clutch kit under £300.
I think the garage just didn’t want the work.
