General Expansion tank

My 1999 seicento sporting keeps having an issue where the expansion bottle overflows from the lid even though the engine isn't overheating, any suggestions?

Poss head gasket failure: exhaust gasses pressurising coolant system - let's hope not.
One thing worth checking -the return pipe to the expansion tank goes into & out of the SPI TB. Take off the pipes & make sure coolant can flow through it, mine was blocked due to someone using Radweld or similar gunk.

Yep had same problem once just caused by over tightening cap
