any of you got pics of the std cinq sporting backbox? i was under the impression mine was std, but im not sure anymore.

any pictures of various backboxes would help, i might be able to ID what mine is - ta!

dont have a pic but the standard back box has a cowling over the tailpipe to make it look bigger. i take it that you are looking at the tailpipe?

Standard one is about 1 1/2" diameter pipe with about a 4" wide oval extension piece on the end.

ok, mine is not a standard one then.

not a great picture, but then i was photographing the flap.

Cars going up on ramps tonight to see if any other parts of the exhaust system have been replaced.

bit OT but not much, anyone know if a aftermarket zorst will affect insurance? im with norwich union at the mo if tat helps

hmm it was put on the car sep02, and cost £76 to do. I dont know what a proper fiat one costs.

the reason i'm asking is because it does have a nice sound to it, and it looks better than the standard one imo. A friend of mine is after buying a sei wants the same backbox as me.. but i dont know what mine is tbh!

ghost any mod usually incurs an increase in premium but usually zorst,air filter etc aint to bad although they sometimes get twichy about your alarm etc when you change from standard

You should tell them as they could invalidate the insurance if you don't. Cost me £20 extra, I think.

appalling spelling of appalled! heres one for you ive not had me broom yellow cinq long and the other day the rear window mists up and who is looking back at me but the silhouette of mr tweety pie! i nearly crashed the car looking in the mirror[8D]

it looks like a Sei tailpipe to me. Before i got my Magnex fitted, i had a standard exhaust with an oval pipe on it and it sounded loud when idling. Have a look at the manufacturer of the exhaust itself and fone a couple of garages in your area to see who supply's them. Chances are it's a standard exhaust cos £76 is way too cheap for an aftermarket exhaust (i.e. supersprint, magnex etc).
