Technical Exhaust silencer rattles

My 1.9JTD rear end silencer something inside is rattle something is broken, I have took it off and try to shake I hope something will coming out of pipe a lots of metal debris look like fibres. It need a new one but the original design is more expensive than aftermarket silencer. Here's pictures would it effect the flow or just same over the original exhaust silencer for less £32? What is point to pay more if both are same function?

I ran into this problem with my sporting - the oem style box was around triple the price of one on ebay.
I went for the ebay one (looking similar to the one in your picture) and have had no problems over the past year, it even fitted perfectly.

It will make Very little difference the original is probably shaped slightly for areodynamics but will make no noticeable difference
