3 of the studs remained in the head, and the other 5 all came out, dont know the torque but tightening them by hand wont be sufficient
you need man tools like ratchet bar and socket things
25 Nm is the going rate but as the man says a lot of 'feel' is needed cause they get corroded. The 25 might not get them tight I give the threads a rub of a wire brush.
Be careful of the ones that come out of the head. Nuts tend to wander down the stud so when you put it back in there is insufficient engagement of the stud in the head. The stud should go in at least one and a half times the stud diameter to be sure that the full strength is available. Tightening up with just a few threads in can strip them at the specified torque.3 of the studs remained in the head, and the other 5 all came out,
i was using a socket and ratchet but didnt think it was tight enough onto the head, i nipped them up tight,
might just try exhaust paste (i know i shouldnt but it it doesnt seal then it's invest in a new manifold anyways) on the manifold side,
I know this goes against all Punto traditions of keeping hands out of pockets, bodging, etc. BUT, you can buy new, replacement, studs and nuts, take my word for it.
