Hello everyone,
I have a 1.2 8v 04' Punto FL which has a major exhaust leak. It sounds horrible and I've got a gasket to repair it. It is leaking from the flange towards the front near the engine. The issue is the nuts are stripped round which ain't problematic as I own a damaged nut extractor however I don't know the nut specs. What thread is it specifically and if possible can someone send me a link to a nut that'd work? I read a forum earlier and apparently its M8 but idk if its fine, coarse thread etc.

Thank you

M8 sounds about the right size. No reason for it to be a fine thread, as those are used in special applications. So a standard M8 nut should be fine.

Unless:
Sometimes manifold nuts are brass.
Sometimes the brass or steel nuts have a special thread insert that keeps them tight despite the constant temperature changes.
If it is a self-locking nut, it must be a steel type, not a nyloc, as the nylon will melt.
