500 excess speed warning light on then off

Hi my daughter has just got a 2011 petrol 500. drives and runs fine then when she exceeded the speed limit (not all the time) an orange light came on but when you turn off the car and restart it the light has gone. light does not come on every time speed limit is exceeded

The only speed-related warning I'm familiar with is the arbitrary alarm setting in the menu which brings up a brief warning message when the set speed is exceeded.

Wouldn't the light go out once the speed reduced rather than at switch off?
Can the op take a picture ?
