I took my stilo into the motor trader I bought her from today... they are hopefully taking her to Fiat to get the SkyRoof and warrenty sorted... they've given me a 1.4 Citroen C3 :yuck: If I had not had to put it on my insurance I'd put the thing out of its misery and drive it into a wall :D

omg - I sat there in traffic this morning, and someone pulled up along-side me in a C3 the same colour... he looked at me, smiled, then gazed at both the cars... good I feel dirty being assumed to own one of these monstrosities  .. I raised my eyebrows in pity at the poor man and moved on after showing my discust :yuck:

I also past a green Punto today.. with the back slightly lower than the front I can only guess he either had his mother or a cargo of bricks in the boot :D I'm just wondering why on earth he/she decided to put the scorpion Abarth badge on his side skirts :yuck:

Its something i have always wondered about too mate, cough cough TC has them cough cough..
I see you refer to your Stilo as a "she", mines a guy, there's no doubt about that one ;)

arnt all fiats female, since they like to take their little diva moments dont they ;)

God the C3, I hated that car, I had one as a car from the rover dealer when I had one of those (ironic eh, rover dealer with citreon courtesy cars).
felt too bubble like, too high, damn that horrible 1.4 engine PSA have, I had never been so happy to get back in my old rover after that!

Aw KoArAnG, mine's a bird... I really do like my new motor and the thought of a man giving me pleasure is something I dont wish to entertain  haha!

Sad init... reminds me of the chav's and their 1.3 Escorts with plastic XR3i bits stuck onto them, trailing up and down the length of Southend-on-Sea pretending their car is sportier than it actually is :p

"God the C3, I hated that car"

I whole-heartidely agree :yuck:

I know where.............................

they are coming from Wolfrace.

What they are trying to say, is that anyone who sticks modifications on their car from a sticker to a spoiler is a Chav, guess that makes us Chavs too!

Korang, you've got a 'real' Abarth have you not? It hasn't stopped you sticking bits on your bumpers, changing springs, changing wheels, fancy tailpipes, etc. So what car are you trying to make yours look like?

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!

If you modify your car it's not ultimately so it goes or looks like it goes faster, it's to personalise and individualise your car, you guys crack me up, always talking the same old rubbish and trying to critisize the same people, wake up lads........................................

Oh no no no.... modifications make a car individual and on occasions make them look good. I've previously been in a BBC documentary about modding cars along with my mates, and many of my mates have made individual mod's to their cars.. my point is about the badges, why don't you stick a Renault 5 GT Turbo badge on your car too? BMW have the idea, don't give out M3 badges until you've brought your logbook/insurance/etc into the dealer to prove you own one.. (and I know, some people have got around that, but still)

I have explained this..............................

when you purchase an Abarth bodykit, ie: skirts and spoilers, from FIAT, they have indentations on them for you to fit the supplied badges to, now if you don't fit the badges you have empty hollows in your skirts, etc, it doesn't look nice. I don't think the badges are supposed to represent the fact you have an Abarth but that you have an Abarth bodykit.

oh I must apologise for not reading all your posts...

well I must say I have not seen your 'explained this earlier' message, and thank you for explaining the reasoning...

 wtf??

Errrm...its a Fiat thats why. If I had a Clio though, they'd be on there straight away.

Abarth is related to Fiat so whats the problem? Its just a small badge :)
