Err message on radio

i gave in and bought the code for my radio today, the only problem is that the radio displays an 'Err' message, is there anything i can do to change this?

Is it a standard unit what car is it in what circumstances did you need the code for then we may be able to help further.

it is a punto_s 55 with the standard phillips radio,
i needed the code because i bought the car 2nd hand and the code had been forgotten by the previous owner

Hmm is this different to before you put the code in. Probably cheaper and better off puting in an after market unit IMO.

sorted it, had to leave car switched on for about 20 mins and the message changed to code, thanks very much for the help though

try to find somebody for example on ebay, who can "decode" your radio...
decode means pair radio with car...

i think somebody tried to give code more than three times

or can bus error between radio and car.
