Breaking News:

The FA have acted swiftly in appointing a new England manager. It comes just twenty-four hours since the former boss McClaren was sacked. FA Chief Executive Brian Barwick said "The England national side currently has some issues that need addressing. With the appointment of Bob, we believe he is the right man for the job. He has a proven track record in fixing broken problems."

Bob is expected to sign a five-year deal tomorrow and be revealed to the world's media early afternoon once all the legal formalities have been completed.

Is Bob the right man to sort out England's problems? Please post your opinions below

Well he can't do much worse!:bang:

At least he won't need an umbrella to keep the rain off his thinning hair!:D

I could see bob taking a nice phillips headed screwdriver to the rectum of one or two England players hehe. Aston Villa payed just over 10 million for Scott Carson iirc, worth every penny. Gordon Brown on a Merry go Round in between the goalposts could have done better.

He could fix the subsidence problems at wembly during half time, definatley a front runner(y)

I hear David Platt was offered the job but he decided to stay with Coronation Stree.

Incidentally, the England 3 lions are being replaced with 3 tampons to reflect and extremely poor period! :D
