The FA have acted swiftly in appointing a new England manager. It comes just twenty-four hours since the former boss McClaren was sacked. FA Chief Executive Brian Barwick said "The England national side currently has some issues that need addressing. With the appointment of Bob, we believe he is the right man for the job.
