A alan Guest Sep 16, 2008 #1 hello all. i have a bravo 1.2 sx, when i turn the engine over there is a whizzing sound for a split second then the engine starts, this has just started to happen. any ideas what is causing it.thank you.

W Wimmy Guest Sep 16, 2008 #2 I'm guessing starter motor on its way out unfortunately. Is it an electrical whizzing sound?

B bulldog5046 Guest Sep 16, 2008 #4 Hello, It's a sticking bendix from what i understand, annoying but not terminal or really warrent replacement. my 20vT does it but bugger if i'm going to try and change the starter with engine where it is lol. Ry
