Can anyone help me. Ive got a 1.8i HLX (R reg) and I want some tips on boosting the power. If anyones got any ideas and links I would be very grateful.

im looking to put an induction kit have my chip maped and a good exhaust and a power boost valve too
u can then if u wonted to go for comp head or just get a desent cam shaft if u have your computer chip maped this allows for any other work u have done on your car the chip can then take into account any of these things so it will run the car better and u will get max performance out of all and any work u have done
u could if u wonted skip all this sort of work and buy a fiat coupe 16v turbo not the 20v has to be the 16v model and shove all the running gear into your car that works quite well
then u come into the nitros but it really depands on how u race your car bout if u are doing drag racing nitros is good but if u like me and like racing around on back roads nitros is not much good lol u would hit the tree on the bend most likly there are many more things but this should help a little
I put Nitrous on my 1.6 and its slightly faster than a HGT. I've just ordered a chip and a performance 4 branch manifold. They should arrive towards the end of this week. I'll post what I think of the chip and exhaust manifold once they are fitted but they should make a pretty big difference. I would like to think that I'll have the above and De-cat pipe on the car by the end of this month.
Oh and if you go for a Filter get a Pipercross Viper. They are with our doubt the best induction kit on the market for the bravo.
