sorry to ruin the jokey thread guys..

but i may need to replace the engine after the cambelt snapped, is there any real point or just get a new car?

i was thinking maybe a ford with much better reliability?

Depends on the cost of the car. You have to weigh up buying a new car, fixing your engine (how bad is the damage - I had a clio cambelt snap, only cost me £250...) or replacing the engine.

Remember if you buy a new car you wont know the history and it might be worse than the stilo - at least with that you know it!!
