Technical Engine problems with my mk2 punto 1.2 8v

Hi can anyone help me,when the car is cold it runs fine but when it gets to temp and i stop at a junction it cuts out will not idle at all. I have changed the throttle body as the throttle postion sensor was faulty i have put new coil packs and leads on also a cam sensor and even a map sensor but still no joy any ideas?????:bang::worship:

Crank sensor would be my guess. But get the codes read -- it's one hell of a lot cheaper than changing stuff willy nilly. About £20 in a back street garage.

Depends where you are - would be willing to come and read the code for less than £20 if local

heat + Stops at lights = high probability of crank sensor

they fail over time, Its a 5min swap over jobbie

If you can get a cheap one from a scrappy - try driving the car down - swapping it there with a hot engine / sensor to see if it fails or drives okay
