Technical Engine light / general electrical hell

The auld lad's just arrived here very pissed off in his Multijet GP, engine light is on and apparently he's been having electrical issues (as well as occasional loss of power) all day. Warning lights, lights not enabling, etc.

Now, its been very wet here for the past while but it wasn't this morning when this started so I'm not sure I can blame it on the standard "ah, Italian cars and winter..." problem!

I know I'm being extremely vague but has anyone got any ideas?

I haven't got any more details unfortunately! By the time he got the car to me, it was running with just an engine light on.

Going to throw it in to Airton on Tuesday anyway.

Just took it for a spin there:

1: Engine light is on
2: Turbo stopped working after about 2km. Restarting the car made it start again.

To top this all of, MY OWN car won't fecking start right now! AA called...

is it a 1.9? I'd start looking at the EGR.

1.3 75hp with 108,000km on the clock - its hard a hard life...

sans turbo it'll barely reach 110km/h so I've a feeling it'll be out of action for a bit. The AA man's been called for my car for clarity, I think the GP is out of Fiat Assist cover due to the mileage!

egr's, boost sensors & ocasional turbo can give trouble on theses but not that often.

Grand so, none of them I can really take a poke at myself so its laid up / doing local runs max until Tuesday.

My own car's sorted now, thank you Fiat Assist

Boost sensor and the EGR valve, apparently. I'm not the one paying for the repair and I trust the garage so didn't question it...
