Technical engine fault light

Hi all , yes its me again . well been out to the car today to try and sort out my heaters , checked the fises again and T8 changed that but still nothing , but now i have engine warning light in and its only since i checked fuses and replace them and T8 , think im in well over my head now ??? any ideas ??

Does the engine start and run fine? If you can - get someone to hook up an obd2 interface and multiecuscan to check what the fault code is for the engine warning. If you weren't as far away as Perth I'd do it for you

Hi Mark, yes she runs great just the light is on all the time , just annoyed with myself as i thought i was beginning to win with her , thanks any way poppet

Quick update took car out for a good run and engine light still on but car running like a dream loads or power and pickup .just worried about engine light staying on !!

Does the car tickover ok at idle? If the engine light is still on in the next week or so I'll drive and meet you half way and I'll read your ecu. I should be driving in a week or so

Edit: If there is nothing wrong with your Stilo then the engine light should clear after 3 or 5 clean starts of the engine iirc

Hi Mark ,yes car ticks over and idles great and thank you for the offer of next week if light is still on I would be really grateful of you over of meeting and you checking my faults . I guess you must be unwell by your reply that you should be ok to drive by then if that's the case get well soon .suzi

Nah I'm fine - well just recovered from man flu lol but I'm trying to find the time to get my Stilo MOT'd and taxed so I can drive it again Should be late next week, PM me your number and I'll give you a text closer to the time to arrange something

Edit: Dunkeld is just over 85 miles away, so if you're willing to drive part of the way I can meet you somewhere along the A9, I'll drive 50-60 miles of the journey, just in case something goes wrong with your Stilo

engine light was on my stilo and my car was running fine. i took out out the hightest fuse which was 70amp for 5 mins and then replaced it. turned on the ignition and it went off.
