I've got a bravo 1.4 sx and i'm thinking of adding a induction kit for the car. What much difference does it make and what make should i go for.

It won't make much difference

They may allow more air to flow (with increased noise from the engine compartment) but the air is sucked in from the hot engine bay which means less air density and lower power. The standard set up allows cold air and a dense mixture for greater power. If you can find a system that replaces the filter and still draws air form outside then it might improve things

any recommendations

Thanks for that - do u anywhere i can get hold of for this.

Maybe

There are some kits offered for replacing the std filter with the free flowing materials. Try Demon tweeks

engine enhancment idea's.

hi joe, i recently added a jetex induction kit to my 1.4 sx and it's seem to have created a bit of difference. on top of this there is a mean induction noise and i've not even complimented it with an exhaust. if you do get one i suggest a new exhaust and a power boost valve along with it to get the best of performance from your engine. happy motoring
