Technical Engine Conversion Airbox

hi there,

i'm just gathering the final bits for my 899-1242 cinq engine conversion, and i was just wondering will the airbox from a Punto 60s fit in my 899 bay? just temporarily until i get GSR induction after the conversion?

Just to add on to this, what induction would i be best getting for the 1242 once it is in my cinq bay? would it need to be a GSR kit from a cinq 1.1 or a punto GSR kit?

dunno if the airbox will fit, i reckon it will but it only takes a few moments to put on so whack it on and see..

Think you'll want a cinq GSR tbh as it designed to get air from colder areas of the engine bay of a cinq, again maybe wrong i don't even know what a punto GSR looks like tbh

yea me either don't think they even do one for the 60s engine, so just guessing that its a cinq sporting one that people use, just thought i best make sure! i'll need to get an airbox from the scrappy then and get a new filter for it, as the conversion starts a week today! then i'll get a GSR afterwards

you would need a cinq gsr.the punto version exits towards the rear as opposed to the cinqs forward position
