Technical Engine code?

Im doing the cam belt on my 99 Punto MK2 8v, i've been told there are two different ways of changing the belt depening on what the engine code is, where do I find out what the engine code is? I also want to change the antifreeze, but the radiator hose has a weird looking clip holding it on, and im only used to the old jubilee clips, how do you take the other type off?

The clips are what FIAT use quite similar to jubille clips just use a screwdriver to open it and put a jubilee clip on in it's place

Cambelt... Not sure as when i changed the 1242, 8v punto engine in my cinq all the listings seemed to have just one cambelt..... i think

theres not 2 diffrent ways to change an 8v, they must be getting confused with 8v an 16v

The 8v is easy even i could do one know just make sure when you check it's at TDC that you make sure it's not 180 out.....

Prob didn't explain that v.well but i'm guessing you already know what i'm on about.lol
