Hello guys,

Since 3 weeks my Fiat Punto '03 turned on the engine check light with red color.

I noticed a reduced acceleration and difficulties on reaching high speed with my Punto.

I did a check with Delphi diagnostics and it found out 3 OBD codes like below:

Code:
[B]P0106 [/B]- Pressure sensor, inplausible value

[B]P0238 [/B]- Boost pressure sensor

[B]P0235 [/B]- Boost pressure sensor

I sent it to 3 different mechanics and all of them gave different suggestions what could be the issue, one said the engine booster is dead, the other one said maybe there is any air leak through the tubes and the other one said maybe we need to change 1 sensor.

This is why I am not sure whether should I let them work on it or not.

I thought it would be better to ask here for any professional opinion about this issue from more experienced people about Fiat cars.

What would you suggest me to do to solve this issue? Would appreciate your opinion.

Thanks in advance.

First of all we start with the easiest and cheapest thing, which is air leaks and intake system.
You disconnect the air filter large intake hose (assuming the maf sensor sitting after the air filter) and connect a smoke machine inside the air system, to pump smoke and make leaks visible to naked eye.

After that, replacing the boost pressure maybe a quick fix.
