Endsleigh-induction kits

hey people

just wondering whether anybody out there is insured with endsleigh and if so wot difference an induction kit makes to the premium?!

i hav a bravo 1.6 16v and didnt declare it @ time of insurance-now im thinnking i should declare but am not sure how much itll add to the premium

any1 hav any ideas??

You should declare it. Your policy is void if you don't.

But anyway, call and ask. Just say "I'm thinking about fitting one" if they need a reason.

be careful if you say 'i'm thinking of', if you have an accident it'll be the first thing they will check.

right... i was going to do a seperate post about this before i read this but this one seems appropriate to add to...

today i got a quote for renewing with endsleigh - been with them for a year, they've been good, i've come to get quotes from other insurance companies, and as Tom knows, and they have all wanted £1,300 for a Fiat Bravo 80 sx Formula, 20 yr old me, no convictions, 1 years NCB, been driving nearly 3 years... (which is just robbery)

so, i speak to the area manager at Endsleigh, and he does me for £809 - top deal.

i asked him how much an air filter would cost to add on, and he said it wouldn't effect it by much - as in up to £10 - they are more bothered about the outside look of the car, the side skirts so the quote is £874 - yet to see it in writing though, but basically whatever it comes out at endsleigh are much cheaper for me than any other company

just to give an idea on other mods, my mate's non-standard alloys and exhaust cost £40 extra on his 1.6 escort, he's same age as me, so they seem quite reasonable
