Hi all, my lil cinquecento has decided to play up as soon as i got it on the road, first of all i was caught in traffic and the fuse blew to my fan so replaced that and it still doesnt work (was working fine before the traffic??) and one side of my rear number plate lights have stopped working and the rear lefthand sidelight, and the dash lights have all stopped? ( the green ones behind the instruments) and the little sidelight light on the instrument panel has stopped? any ideas? ive replaced the fuses but still nothing? and it all happened at once!

I'd suspect the ground contacts, sounds very much like it.

Spin the fan by hand (ignition off and engine cold) make sure it turns very smoothly.

thanks i'll give that a go tomorrow, do you know how to get to the dash lights i think i mighrt have blown them. and what if the fan doesnt spin freely??

For the fan, if it doesn't spin freely, replace it. To get access to the bulbs, remove the cowl section of the console and it'll become obvious.
