basicalli iv got a dilema
iv got a 1.8 HLX which i love to bits i paid £1000 for it about 6months ago.its done 105,000 miles and is a r reg.its my pride and joy.but on the way home from bham to manc the engine blew!
i just about managed to get to the hard shoulder and called the AA to get me home.i was then told by the mechanic that the engine is dead.bottom end knackered!!!!!
after crying for about 2hrs and accepting tears wouldnt fix it i came to a decision.i can .....
a)lookin for a new engine and get my pride and joy back to full fitness.ISSUMING I CAN FIND ONE IM PREPARED TO PAY ABOUT £500 FIND ONE GET ONE FITTED.AM I BEING TOO OPTOMISTIC???????
b)get the engine rebulit.WAY TOO COSTLY AND PROB NOT WORTH IT.
c)do an insurance job.THE ILLEGAL OPTION!!TO RECOUP MY LOSSES.
basically i cnt come to terms with the fact that i have too lose my beloved car.
anyone got any ideas?????????
