Technical Electrical Fault Battery/Fuel Gauge

Hi,

i have got a permanent battery light and low fuel gauge light (although full) coming on on my Marea ELX 20v

Any ideas?

Now the fuel gauge is back to normal but the air bag light is on all the time?

I have read the voltage on the battery = 12.16V

Then i fired it up and put the lights on it dropped to 10.56V

Then i ran it for a while and the voltage was = 11.56V

Could this be the alternator?

Sounds likely or poss a regulator problem, battery charging voltage is usually about 13.5v.
You will need to get the airbag warning reset at a fiat garage as it latches in.
