all done today, plugs were a faff but not too bad with EGR off.

Starting seems better but won't know for certain until tomorrow when it starts from stone cold.

Certainly runs smoother and without slight flat spot, Clean EHR valve I guess. Also has one of those EGR partial blanking plates with 3 small holes, all pretty gummed up.

Oil and filter change was worst as I had the 'wrong' filter and needed a 20 mile round trip to get the right one half way through.

fingers crossed otherwise its checking the fuel pressure - now how do i do that?

Starting from stone cold on 2 mornings has been much improved. Smoother running continues and mpg up a little too from 42 to 45 mpg.

Potential result(y)

well I think the better starting was a placebo! it's back to normal, lots of cranking and spluttery starts. fine when hot or even worm.

Relay next, then fuel filter, still don't know how to check fuel pressure

aaaggghhhhhhh

nice little car spoilt by niggles:(

Now in garage, very difficult to start and getting worse. Running out of ideas and patience. Garage man thinks it may be injectors at £200+ each!,,,,
