Technical Efficient engine mods

Hello again,

Sorry to hijack the forum yet again today. I am aware that the Cinq is a pretty efficient car as it is but I'd be interested if there were any 'simple' mods to the engine that I could do myself (minimal cost) to improve the efficiency?

I'm thinking air filter and exhaust are the main culprits so what can people suggest? Are there any brands that come recomneded or should be avoided?
