Ive got a good one for you folks,

If I put an ECU with immobiliser in place of my ECU without an immobiliser..whats the worst that could happen?

Worst i'm imagining is car wont start as immobiliser code is in ECU and key- and my key is uncoded...

Arse

Ill think of something witty....just wait and see............wait I might not.

You fitting new ignition lock as well? The bit that talks to the key?

The worst that can happen is that the seatbelt will immobilise you, the doors will lock and the car will take you off to the local vauxhall dealers.[)]

85% of Marea HLX drivers have speeding tickets.... lol they'll have to catch me first.

Hehehe...No not replacing ignition lock.

This is why i'm asking..If I had the original lock and key for that ECU, there would be no problem!!![xx(]But as I don't, there might be such a problem.

Can I get it decoded at all- so the immobiliser isnt an issue:D
