Hi!

I overheated my 1108 Cinq and fixing it its more expensive than changing the engine so I decided to go for the P60 swap.

I read it is a straight swap keeping the cento's crank position sensor and oil pressure switch and having a spacer made to go between the front pipe and manifold.

My question is: Will my cento's chipped ECU work?

I think the answer is yes, but I want to be sure as I have to hand detailed info about my car to the mechanics so they don't mess up.

Thanks in advance

It should run it (depends on how "chipped" it actually is), but it will be more optimal I believe if you use a stock 1.2 SPI ECU, it will be plug and play too, you only need to take care of any potential immobiliser issues.

My chip bypasses the immobiliser, so I guess it should run same as it has before.

Thanks for your help,

are there any other issues I should take into account?
