Hi all

I'm getting the the glow plug light flashing for 40 secs or so after starting.
Can the plugs be they be checked easily to see if they are dodgy?
She starts first time, everytime with no trouble at all in the recent freezing conditions so I'm assuming all is ok.

Now I'm getting the '' aircon faulty'' warning up on startup!
The system is working (although perhaps the air is not as ice cold as it once was)

I did have the oil too high come up a while back (level was spot on)
but this seems to have gone!

1. Could these be ecu faults rather than actual physical faults with the above?

2. Would a diagnostic check throw up some info?

3. Assuming all is mechanically well, could the diagnostic cancel the dash warnings?

cheers all

Check / Charge the battery, check / clean the earth points.

Thanks Ffoxy

I did that on weekend.........removed battery, cleaned everything up, the battery is in good shape and fully charged.

Try using Multipla glow plugs in the SEARCH button facility at the top of the page that should answer one question.

Peat

thanks Peat
that answered half the question re: glow plugs

Could still use advise on HOW to check them with a multimeter to identify which one before removing any.

could the glow light be erased using a diagnostic plug in?
