I typed this post about before and hit the wrong button and closed it! :( (take2!)

In a few weeks time, a slightly modified cinq sporting on an N will be mine. It has a k&n induction kit fitted. I wish to 'chip' the car too. I remeber reading that BBR make a chip for around £125 but this works best with the standard airbox and a simple filter change.. not really ideal (i like the noise the induction kit gives! hehe)

With the intake sorted, and looking into a chip - makes sense to replace the exhaust. What different types are out there, and what kinda prices should i expect to pay?

Sorry the really broad questions but i've not found a whole lot of info on my travels so far

A back box will release a little more power, Supersprint and Janspeed S1 are good but not too noisy - others I haven't tested (anyone??)

The ideal system is something like a full Supersprint job with replaceable cat for MOT time - cost you about £350 plus fitting.

Make sure you have plenty of cold air ducting to the K&N too - this really makes a difference.

what do you suggest for the ducting, something as simple as say that flexible metal tumble drier ducting? What about if it picks up water.. really dont want that going inthere too..

The airflow thru the ducting won't be sufficient enough to carry water up it so you don't have to worry about that one
