Technical eBay gmax suspension struts uno turbo

As titled really, yellow front struts for my mk2 turbo, apparently 'gmax' brand, has anyone tried this brand or these on an uno/turbo?

Mine are 'wallowy' and spongey and generally 18 or 19 years old so i need some new front struts (did the rear but not the front), would an original FIAT shock absorber be any different to this here gmax shocker?

Just wondering before i buy a pair,

g max very boingy down the road, wait for a decent set to turn up on fleabay their quite regular, i have the adjustable spax and there realy good, love them, orig will be oil filled, maybe quality gas units on a budget Ant!

Gmax is a basic shock and spring combo. They are OK. Definatly better than old worn out stuff.

The early -60mm sets were way too low and were recalled. The -35 sets are ok.

Paul, surely there are very good dampers out there, but i can't comment on things i haven't used. KYB and Magneti Marelli Gas filled ones are very durable and not so expensive. MM(Fiat OE) lasted for 70K on Indian roads with me driving over 60km/h. Since i couldn't get Magneti, bought KYB "Excel" gas filled(front & back) for less than £140, and is good as MM.
