How about just adding your own ground point wire to the body at the vehicle rear and connecting to the existing ground wire?

Are you looking at lights with engine running? So voltage at normal running voltage.

Just add another

There to risk to adding extra earth's to the wiring as long as it all done correctly

Yes lights are on and indicators with engine running and earth applied but doeasnt stop the flickering , Continuity good @0.000ohms with or without extra earthing cable. So a bit of a puzzle.
