dvd copy from ebay- whats wrong here???

can anyone tell me why/what my dvd is doing? its crashing and allsorts? any ideas? would it be a problem with the dvd? or any other thing? anyway thanks for your help

ebay dont seem to mind having them on there site, theres loads! il try it in my laptop.

um there against the listing policy,perhaps instead of buying you should have reported the listing?????
check what type of media it is,perhaps its DVD+R and your dvd player doesnt like it.from what i understand DVD+R has the files 'deeper' in the disc and some lazers struggle with it

Just looks like a bad copy, the series I I have seen is an episode a DVD and Have had no problems.

yes, me too.

im asking because i bought episodes 1-6 worked perfect on my tv, then bought 7-12 and it works how it is shown in the video.

maybe they are on a DVD disc but not in DVD format - i.e. ".avi" or similar??

Ok, I take it you mean the flickering on your screen? If so then I would assume that the DVD is possibly an NTSC signal and not PAL so have a fiddle with your remote to see if you can change the settings as most TV's from the last five years can be switched to display other signals.
