Hmmm went to burn some data to dvd and I've just realised I dont have any software. Any reccomendations, preferably free?

ive just got a new burned (poineer 112) and it won't work with my version of Nero 6 i just get unspecified target error

That's my way of thinking. I bought my first CD writer and got Nero free with it. Then bought another and got Roxio.. never again.
Now on Nero 7 and it's looking good. Lot more DVD support than 6.
new IDE cable fixed it.
I use ashampoo and love it
ive heard of that one before, its free and looks alot like nero?
looking for decent burning software myself, had nero6 somewhere but lost it :S
Was free to me its only 50 mg( i think) i can send you it cougthingly like
