Ok..
so mine is a 2013 Ducato.
Last time we got home the bulb (bright yellow bulb icon) warning lamp came up on dash.
I decided to check today.
Findings... no sidelights on near side. Nothing Front. Nothing rear. Everything else ok. (Including brake light on same bulb)
Took both bulbs out..ran continuity checks. Both ok ?
checked supply...no 12v

Got Fiat book out ( oh no...).. only shows one fuse for sidelights F58.
Can I find it.. NO!!!
not under dash, not in engine bay (although fuse cover diagram refers to it) and not in auxiliary place on pillar

So I am stumped???

1. Where is the sidelight fuse
2. There must be a split system as the offside are ok..although only mention of one fuse in book?

can anybody shed any light please????
Thanks in advance

From the wording of your post, I suspect that it refers to a motorhome.

If so is it on an Alko chassis?

I have a memory of reading about chafing of the wiring where it enters the chassis.

Another possibility may be junction boxes where the connections are made to the Fiat wiring.

I appreciate that the above does not directly answer your question, but it may be helpful.

There are no fuses for the sidelights, they are switched directly from the Body Control Module [BCM]. I believe it might contain polyfuses which reset when the fault is removed? I have attached the circuit and explanation etc.
The front / rear side to side are on different outputs from the BCM.

Superb!

Thank you...problem now resolved.
With the above info I went back to it.
Yes it’s a Motorhome.
No more looking for fuse boxes thanks to here.
Found a small number plate bulb blown.
Changed it and when I turned ignition on the dashboard icon reset.

Thanks for your support

Hi everyone, just joined, I have and issue with drivers sidelights not working Fiat ducato 2012 on a Dethleffs Motorhome. Passenger side lights are fine. All bulbs are fine, earths are good as brakelamps and headlamps working fine.
I believe that sidelights/tail lights are not fused but are fed from the Canbus system with an overload facility?
any ideas how to reset this or where the “feed” originates from, relay/connector block etc? Im struggling to find any meaningful wiring diagrams. I am electrical although not auto. Any help appreciated as I cant get the MOT without the lights working .Been under the van for a week tracing cables!
Thanks
