Hi - does anyone know what the acceptable limit is for an injector leak off test for a 2.3 Multijet 130??

Cheers :)

No more than 10% difference on the cylinders according to Fiats E-learn.

Are you using a leak off test kit with the 4 bottles. Are you experiencing shut downs on powering..

I’m awaiting new injectors fitting in about 10 days time

One min exact run time and on these bottles if I remember correctly 20ml is about correct (the two on the right) but no’s 1 & 2 are as the fiat tech said were Fu***d

So fiat are replacing (euro6 2.3 130)

Hoping this solves the still ongoing issues of power surges and flat spots

I remember one instance where the leakoff passed the requirements but fault was still found to be an injector...Would not show up on running tests even when shutdowns occurred. Nice graphs from ECU outputs, took about a week, much pissing about I thought as it had to be an injector. Turned out leakoff from that injector was down as low as 5%...So I can see why Fiat say no2 has to be replaced as well.

If an injector fails leak test it should be replaced.
If injector passes leak test it just means that it's leak rate is within spec , it doesn't mean the injector is good .
