Hello,
I have a Fiat Ducato 2012, 2.0L 115 Multijet.
I've found a Technical Manuel (in french which is my language) for the Ducato 3 2.3L but not for the 2.0L.
Because the location of EGR and different pieces are different between the 2.3L and the 2.0L, I'm not enough skilled in mecanic to know how to do some stuff without the good Technical Manual.
Does someone know where I can buy (pdf or real book) the technical manual of the Ducato III 2.0L (2012) ?
Thank you very much

Check your engine series number if it is RHK you have a Peugeot engine.
I have AutoData manuals up to 2012 so have some useful details, just hope your English is better than my French.;)

Hello BugsyMike,
Heyhey could be great ^^.

Hm...
On my metal plate I can read : MOTOR 250ARMFB FY
When I put my VIN in https://eper.fiatforum.com/ I can read : Motor : 6807626

ChatGPT told me that "250ARMFB FY" is part of the F1AE3481D family.

I took a picture of the oil filter + alternator (attached).
It's the same in this aftermark french website (same as Craigslist or Gumtree) : https://www.leboncoin.fr/ad/equipement_auto/3066606754
(also I attached screenshot of this webpage because in few month it won't be online).

So, I'm not sur but it seems that I have a 250A1000 engine.

Looks like the Fiat engine, I recognise the oil cooler that gave me so much trouble on a 1.6 Fiat Doblo and I know they fitted a 2. litre version in some Doblos. This is a 263A1.000 According to my Auto Data manual it was still used in 2012 so may have been a detuned version in the Ducato as this was rated at 135hp. This is the Doblo version between the pens. When I fitted a cambelt kit on my 1.6 I believe the timing tools covered the 2.0 litre also, so I was able to do the job , but my timing manual didn't cover Doblo, but I found the details under 1.6 Grande Punto.
I found the engine photos on this site, does it look similar to yours?https://globalparts.co.uk/undefined...engine-263a1000-263-a1-000-29k-miles-warranty

Thank you very much :)
Yes, it's the same engine.

I thought the orange plastic plug was some rust XD ! (blue circle + blow arrow in my pictures)

yellow arrow : same big cylindrical metal color thing in my Ducato
red arrow : same oil measurement stick
blue arrow : same EGR black plastic radiator
green arrow : same metal tiny pipe
red circle : exhaust clamp at this location
And same black plastic bell that cover the oil filter and the altertator that is close to.

Glad it was some help, I don't think that engine was as popular, just some Ducato and Doblo models, this means hard to find much detail.
On the 2010 Doblos I have, although only 1.6 version they are very similar design, it was the oil filter/oil cooler housing below the alternator that I recognised. The aluminium oil cooler and seals failed allowing oil into the engine coolant giving similar symptoms to head gasket faults. I had trouble with pattern supplier and poor quality parts, then the other problem I found was that once oil had got into the coolant it caused all the water pipe O ring seals to swell up , so once disturbed they wouldn't refit and Fiat uses the plastic pipe ends on the hoses to allow quick assembly in the factory, but when old and need replacing the release clips are not very easy and the parts are dearer than a piece of rubber hose.:(
When you change the oil filter the plastic cap can be very tight and the nut tries to round off, I used a spanner and a Facom steel strap wrench at the same time to release it. You should be able to get new plastic cap if necessary, but there are two different types and they use different oil filter elements. Also to avoid some mess you are meant to attach a hose to the small metal pipe near the filter so if you release the plastic cap a little it releases a valve, then oil should drain from the hose rather than all over the floor.;)
The above was the issue with my pattern parts as once assembled and engine run , oil poured out of the valve meaning I had to change the new housing several times due to poor quality, in the end I fitted part of the original, but it was an annoying job.:(

Hello, thank you very much.
It's really interresting to have your history with this engine.
I will remember your problem with oil and "water" mix (aluminium oil cooler). Thank you.
