Hello,

I have a punto hgt 2003 and the drivers side lights are staying on all the time, even when the car is off, the keys are out and its locked. Someone told me to try changing the indicator stork assembly which did not fix it! Waste of 125 quid :bang:

And the parking lights are not on :)

Anyone come across this before?

please help.

Andy

They are on all the time and it is only the drivers side, what is follow me home lights? how do you activate that?

cheers

andy

It on all the time or just for a few mins? Your not activating follow me home headlight function without realising it are you?

Jon.

Mk2/Mk2b puntos have FMH lights?!?!

Could it not be something to do with the wiring between the battery and the lights themselves?? It's probably worth getting the wiring looked at and checked that it's wired up correctly.

What with fiats reputation for cack electrics and all!

Don't know. I just assumed they did

Could it be an earthing problems? Thats what Fiat are well known for :p

Sorry this thread is getting a bit old now, but I only just noticed it.

There is a similar problem with the Alfa's and if I remember rightly its normally a sticky relay. Some of the Alfa's had individual relays near the lights themselves which were known to stick on.

Good luck sorting it.

Good point. Don't know why I ddn't think of that:eek: :p

Cheers for the help guys,

I will give the sticky relay a shot and see what happens, I have already checked the earths and the wiring to the lights, so possibly the sticky relay will hold the answer..................hopefully!

Cheers(y)
