the window electrics in my mk2 have been doing my head in!!!
there are 4 switches, left- up and down and right- up and down
you would think, by shorting the 2 pins for the push switch you are effectively closing the switch, therefore the window goes up..... nooo, just sparks!!
so then you would think, 2 wires to a DC motor, wiring it to a 12v supply one way sends it up, another way sends it down... no, just sparks again!!!!
i was trying to use the auto close feature on my alarm but gave up
anyway, hope youve got yours sorted now! if not, try what has been said, checking all the connections... also try the fuse (i dont know if they use a seperate fuse for each window but it would be annoying to do a lot of work to find its just a fuse!)
