General Drivers door won't stay partially open

You know when you open the drivers door, it is meant to open about 50% so you can get out in a car park without whacking the car next to you. Well, mine doesn't do that, it just flies all the way open.

Where the door is fixed to the car, I can see a piece of rubber that is has is loose, this is over the "cam" bit where I assume it is meant to stop the door from opening all the way.

The passenger side is fine, and this bit of rubber is screwed in (at the top of bottom). So I assume it is this.

Anyone ever taken a door off and knows what I'm going on about???

Tighten the checkstrap or renew it if broken...only about £7

yes,one side is attatched to car body(by torx screws) other to door by allen key bolts (5mm).
