General drag race punto mk1

so i just got to the forum and i have a lot of questions i want to build mk1 punto but for drag races and i was wondering can anybody give me some advice about the engine i want to put 2.0 16v from coupe and was wonderin if it fits on the on the engine carriers my punto now has 1.1 engine

it will fit, it has been done many times... i have never poked around one so couldn't give you any details - but i have seen many puntos with that engine. There was even a 2.0 20vt one for sale not long ago on UK ebay
