Door seals!!!

Basically my doors creek to fcuk and rattle and it's more hassle trying to pad them out than it would be removing the plastic seal sheet that it rattles against.

What are the pro's and cons of removing the plastic insert? I've heard you don't actually need it - is this true.

Quick replys guys i've got the doors apart at the moment and wanna sort it out asap.

Buy some Silicon Grease and apply a thin coat to all seals, leave for a short while and buff off the excess.

Not only will you remove all gunk, you'll help preserve them and the "noises" will go away.

its a water barrier. remove at your own risk. handy if you want to go swimming though i'd have thought
