Anyone encountered a problem with the central-locking LED on the driver's door coming on/ rapidly flashing whilst driving. Its happened to me on a few occassions and apart from just being in vision at the corner of my eye doesn't seem to cause any problems.

I'm sure its only a matter of time before I get deadlocked inside but in the meantime does anyone have any idea of what's going on?

Is this an omen of something major?

Also suffering from the shipwrek-like squeaks and groans from the rear which I'm now convinced is the infamous subframe problem.

Any tips on how to get the subframe prob taken seriously?

I have no dealer loyalty and my local one's gone down the pan. So if there's a Midlands dealership which someone's had success with re the subframe let me know.

I'm about a month away from my 24K service and would like to get it sorted at the same time.

the LED is supposed to be flashing from what I know of. If you have the speed lock activated then the cars locks its doors after you pass 30km per hour and thus the lock LED is blinking.
Dunno. Is that the kind of info you could be seeking?

I had some trouble with the onboard mechanical electronic (windows, mirrors, temp-sensor and locking) in that it sometimes went complety dead. So no dead-lock for me (unless i activated it before, then the passengers would have to get in through the boot or driverside door [:(!])

They replaced the body-computer and it hasn´t happened since, knock on wood.
