Technical Door lock barrels seized: question!

My door locks n/s and o/s are seized on my Punto '04 1.2 8v. The ignition barrel still works as does the central locking mechanism, so I'm looking to do just the locks, don't care about a separate key.

Question is, do I need the door lock barrels off a Punto Mk2 or are there other Fiats that I can pilfer them from? The scrappys near me doesn't have any Puntos in...

I believe I read a while ago on the forum somewhere about stripping and cleaning the barrels.
You're probably going to have to take them out anway...

Kind of odd that both would go. Is it possible that the seldom used locks are seeing a worn key and won't play ball ?

Try some wd40 then oil in key hole and work key in and out till free.

My guess is they've never been used due to rcl and have never been periodically lubricated or used.
