Door clicks when opens... why?

when i open my door about three quaters of the way open, it makes a loud clicking noise, why is this?
also, the doors wont hold them selves open if that has anything to do with it?

it sounds like the check strap is worn or else the pin for it is broken they dont cost that much anyway

get a new "check strap pivot pin" they cost 10p i think

Check this out as quick as you can, mine started doing that and now both dont stay open, when i looked to replace the broken bits, the fixture had actually sheared off the door and cant be fixed!

Fixed my drivers side yesterday. Its easy.. remove the pivot pin, remove door card and speaker. remove two screws holding the spring mechanism in place and take it out and have a look. some how the strap on mine had twisted to a 45 degree angle and was not running through the rollers on the mechanism correctly resulting in a horrible cracking noise.
